Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana signed a MoU With PJTSAU
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) -Telangana today signed an Memorandum Of Understanding(MoU) with the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) to facilitate the joint Initiatives of PJTSAU and CII in line with the National and State priorities &challenges in agriculture sector here on Friday. The MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor, PJTSAU Dr. V Praveen Rao and Chairman, CII - Telangana M. Sanjay K. Singh in the programme organized at committee hall in administrative office of PJTSAU at Rajendranagar.
As part of the MoU Professor Jayashankar Agricultural University acts as a knowledge partner to addressing various challenges and areas of improvement in agricultural sector of priority to the national and state interests. PJTSAU would extend its support to the CII on Agricultural initiatives as a knowledge and institutional partner. And also develops the course curriculum for joint certificate courses offered for the agricultural and non - agricultural professionals from the industry. Further, PJTSAU and CII would arrange the lectures of experts from the premier institutes across the world such as Cornell University, USA etc.,for the benefit of the industry and agricultural stakeholders in the state.
Earlier, VC PJTSAU Dr. Praveen Rao explained to the CII delegates about the achievements of the university in last 3years. With the help of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana State Sri. K Chandrashekar Rao and Agricultural Minister Sri.Pocharam Srinivas Reddy University is striving hard to excel in various aspects of Agricultural Education, Research & Extension. He also expressed that, in the changing scenario everybody has talking about agriculture & farmers welfare and giving top priority after the green revolution era in the country. Which gives tremendous boost to agriculture sector in the state and the country. Dr Rao requested the chairman CII - Telangana to help agricultural graduates of the university to get internships in agro based industries in the state as part of their industry experience under the student ready programme. Mr sanjay of CII, chairman has readily accepted the proposal of VC and he assured to facilitate to the students.

Raji Reddy, Dr. Jagadeeshwar, Dr. KS Dangi, Dr. KVS Meenakumari, Dr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Dr. Kalvakuntla Jeevan Rao, Dr. Sadasivarao, Dr. Laxman, Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Gopala Krishna were present.
